Buff and Sheen

Buff and Sheen is a comical roaming dance performance about two imaginative window cleaners.

Buff and Sheen’s novelty, absurdist and slapstick humour tickles audiences of all ages. Children will particularly enjoy interacting with the performers up close through a classroom or gym hall window, joining in with dance moves and laughing at the general shenanigans, from the comfort of their familiar spaces.

Followed by a chance to go outdoors and play with soapy suds, clean the windows and dance with the performers.

This show and workshop have been designed with children with additional support needs in mind and will be adapted to the needs of each audience.

No language is used in the performance. Music is delivered inside through a Bluetooth speaker.

3 performances included per day (max)

ABOUT THE COMPANY

MoonSlide creates performances that meld the mysterious and surreal with the uproarious and farcical. We aim to be very broadly accessible for society's youngest and oldest members, all the while challenging perceptions of what performance can be. MoonSlide is committed to engaging marginalised groups and connecting disconnected communities through the non-verbal languages of movement, humour and humanity. We are a neuro-diverse company and work to reach neuro-diverse audiences and participants.

INFORMATION FOR TEACHERS

All productions will be accompanied by resources to help teachers prepare further activity and link to classroom plans.
